Hello everybody, in this tutorial I’ll teach you how to create a wordpress website with Bluehost. So, if you’re a beginner who’s never designed a website before, this is a full step-by-step guide. This is the article for you.

Join Bluehost And Get Free Domain Name

So, the first thing you’ll need to do is sign up for Bluehost. You can do so by clicking this Join BlueHost.

That will take you directly to the Bluehost website, where you will press the Get Started Now button. Choose your package and you will host one website for as little as $3.95 a month. Alternatively, for $5.95 a month, you can host an infinite number of websites.

Then, once you’ve chosen your plan, you’ll pick your domain. Your domain is the URL to your website. For instance, Google’s domain is google.com.

The amazing thing about Bluehost is that you get this domain for free simply by signing up and using Bluehost as your hosting provider. You can get a free domain name. Simply enter the domain you’re searching for, click Next, then enter all of your details in That Form and click Submit. You should now be in the Bluehost dashboard after creating a Bluehost account. It’s easy to get lost with all of these keys, but if we’re building a WordPress website, we don’t have to bother with all of them.

Install WordPress On BlueHost

We just need to scroll down to locate the website’s submenu. Locate and choose Install WordPress. Following that, we must choose the domain on which we will install WordPress. If you’ve just recently set up your account, you can only have one domain. However, once you’ve chosen your domain, click Next.

We’ll now enter the admin details for your WordPress account. The first thing you’ll do is change the name or title of your website. Then you’ll choose the email address that will be linked with your account, as well as your admin username and password. The username and password you create will be used to access your WordPress account.

When you’re through with all of that, press Next. Notice at the top that WordPress is being installed. When the installation is over, click Display Your Credentials Here. At this point, you can see your username and password, as well as the domain on which you just installed WordPress. Click on the domain, which should take you to your WordPress login page. Enter your newly developed username and password and press login. You now have an official WordPress account. And if you’re logging in, you can see the screen below. Such as this.

How do you personalize WordPress sites?

I’ll demonstrate how to make pages. The first thing you’ll like to remember is how to see your website, which you do by tapping on the top left corner. anda click Visit Site

If you want to adapt it to one of the themes available here, simply press the activate now button. If you’re looking for more free themes, go to wordpress.org. You will browse through hundreds, if not thousands, of free themes on Themes. I’m not sure how many there are, but there are a lot of them, so once you find one you want, press update and then trigger.

When we return to our website, we will find that it has a brand new design. This is due to the fact that we have changed the style.

Before we get into adding blog entries, websites, menus, and other such matters. Let’s start by getting acquainted with the customize panel. If you are back in your dashboard, you will find customise by going to appearance and customise. As a result, the first tab here informs us about the theme we have configured and helps us to modify it. The site identification is the next tab in the customize line. If you click on it, you’ll get the site title and tagline.

So, as you can see, my site title is usually your domain name, and the tagline beneath it says “just another WordPress website.” If we had to change the tagline, we would just type it in and hit Save and post. Okay, click the back button to return to the customize menu, where the next tab colours. When we click on colors, we can adjust the color of the header text, which is also the background color. So, let’s try changing the color of the header text, which is actually white. Set it to the desired colour, and there you have it, it improved so easily.

After that, all you have to do is save and publish your work. And it’s final, but you can still click clear to return to the default settings. If we look at the colours again, there is a background colour that we can change to make the white background there red, blue, green, or whatever we choose. To return it to white, simply click on Default and then Save and post.

So, let’s go back and look at the next page, which is header image. Now you can remove the site title and replace it with an image, such as a logo or something similar. Simply enter a header picture here and hit the Save button.

The following tab is background graphic. If we press that and upload a file, it will replace the white background with an image.

Create custom pages and blog posts

Now that we’ve exited the customise panel and returned to our dashboard, we’ll begin by making a blog post. To do this, go to post. You can make a new one by clicking Add New, or you can find posts you’ve already made by clicking Find Posts. So let’s go ahead and hit add fresh, and this is where you’ll insert the title of your post (I’m going to name mine my first blog post) and your text.

If you want to add a picture, you can do so by going to add media. Once you’ve finished writing your blog post, just hit Publish Now. Take note that the link for each article is my website com slash the date, followed by the title of the post.

And maybe you want to change it so that it’s just the title of the post right after the website, so you have really clean URLs for your posts. To do this, go to settings and then to permalinks. Note that it’s set on day and name, which is why the date is showing up as well. Just click on the post name and Save Changes, and now if we go back to our post and click on my first blog post here, we’ll see that the date has been removed from the URL.

Let’s talk about pages. We might go back to our dashboard, but because we already have the panel here, we’ll only click on pages. Pages are built in the same manner as they are in the dashboard. Add a new item by clicking the button. Add the title of your page, the text media you want to use, and then hit publish. When we return to pages, we’ll see the sample page and the page we just made.

Let’s talk about menus now that we have at least two sites. We’d like you to do that by switching to the menus. Alternatively, if you’re already in the dashboard, you can go to appearance and find menus right there. So the first thing you’ll do is call your menu and then press the Build Menu button.

On our website, we have page one and a sample page. If we wish to delete the sample page, we can easily go to remove and press Save.

Homepage

If you choose to add a home page because your home page isn’t an actual page, go to custom link, add your URL, pick the text you want the menu to view, I’ll add home, press Add to menu, then we can drag it above page 1, and if we go to pages, you can still add pages back in by testing them and clicking Add to menu.

Check the navigation menu under select position and press Save Menu in the menu settings. So that you can build a menu in your WordPress account, we should have home page 1 and sample page.

Okay, so we started with Bluehost, built a WordPress website, and I demonstrated how to use the customise panel. How to develop blog post pages menus and, in general, the easiest way to improve your website-making skills is to start building them.
